  1. Sorry I had to Peek! What a fantastic resource thank you!.
As a school librarian I will definately be sharing this with all our teaching staff, I’m already checking we have all the titles on the shelf.
Just a note -when I looked at the ‘loanwords’ I noticed that the columns are mismatched, all the data is there but it doesn’t read across the page together.
    Thank you again

    1. Thanks for your feedback, Helen, and thanks for pointing out the mismatched columns which have now been fixed.

  2. What a fabulous resource – well done! The website is aesthetically pleasing, and very well organised. You have provided multiple access points to the picture books which will be useful for both school librarians and teachers. The activities look great, and offer an excellent depth and breadth of opportunities to wallow in this lovely form of literature. I will be interested to see which books you next select to add to the collection.

  3. Great website – I am currently doing the paper 72276 Literature and Information for Children and Young People via Open Polytechnic and also a mum of three chilren – 9 year old boy and twin girls aged 2. So getting ideas for picture books to read is great and a great source to use for inspiration when trying to choose a book to take home from the library. Well done – look forward to book marking this site.

  4. Just recieved the link from a friend this morning. Have only had a quick scan but am already feeling excited about using the site for my classroom. Any route into literature is valuable. Your site appears visually pleasing, user friendly and definitely one I will revisit. I will let you know how it goes. Thank you for all the hard work.

  5. Hi Nicola

I can’t believe I have only just found this wonderful resource. It is very helpful to have the titles and synopses collated here – I will be referring people to this fantastic site from now on

  6. What a fantastic site.
As a student teacher it has been a fantastic help with assignments and lesson plans. Can’t wait until I’m teaching and can try some out.

  7. Site is fantastic and shows what outstanding literature and authors we have in NZ. Thanks for providing this resource to use within studies on children’s literature. Something slightly amiss with columns when you click on link to a book and then click on NZC (curriculum links) it brings up the full drop down list over the top of the other info.
